How do I invite friends to connect to me?
From the Invitation Compose page, you have several options for inviting friends.
From Yahoo! Messenger You can invite the friends on your Messenger List right from this page.
- Click "Yahoo! Messenger."
- In the pop-up window, check the boxes next to the friends you want to invite, and click "Invite Selected Contacts."
- You can either compose your own invitation message, or use the one we've created for you.
- Enter the word verification, and click "Send Invitation."
From Yahoo! Address Book You can invite the friends in your Yahoo! Address book right from this page.
- Click "Yahoo! Address Book."
- In the pop-up window, check the boxes next to the friends you want to invite, and click "Invite Selected Contacts."
- You can either compose your own invitation message, or use the one we've created for you.
- Enter the word verification, and click "Send Invitation."
From Email Addresses You can also invite friends manually.
- Type your friend's email address into the "To:" field. You can invite more than one friend -- just separate the email addresses with commas.
- You can either compose your own invitation message, or use the one we've created for you.
- Enter the word verification, and click "Send Invitation."
You can have up to 250 connections, but only 100 outstanding invitations at once. We limit each of these to prevent spam.
