What will I find in the Today's Topics section? |
Note that some of the features and steps below may only be available to you if you've recently updated your Verizon experience.
In the Today's Topics section on your Verizon Yahoo!, you'll see great photos, movie previews, music videos, sports, and news headlines that have been hand-selected by a team of professional news editors. When you first arrive on the page, you will see four stories rotating in the window. After two rotations, the latest story settles at the top.
To access other stories, click one of the small thumbnail images accompanied by a headline, and that particular story will pop into the top spot so you can preview it.
To read the full story, simply click the large photo or the story's headline, and you will go to the page containing the complete information.
How do I play streaming video without leaving the page?
You can watch video content directly on the page without any buffering or loading time. If you see a gray "play" button appearing over the lower-right corner of any photo, simply click the "play" button, and the picture immediately comes to life. And since there's no buffering, you can enjoy this great feature faster and with no interruptions.
To pause or stop the video, simply roll your cursor over the picture/video and click the "pause" or "stop" button that appears.
