An administrative contact is the individual or organization authorized to interact with your domain name registrar on behalf of the registrant specified in the WHOIS record. The administrative contact for your domain has the authorization to accept notices and make domain-related requests to your domain registrar regarding the management of your domain name and, along with the registrant, technical, and billing contacts for your domain, will receive all renewal and other administrative notices associated with the domain name.
The administrative contact for your domain may be yourself or another individual you trust to make decisions about your domain name registration. If you registered your domain through Yahoo! after January 22, 2001 (or, for Merchant Solutions customers, March 23, 2001), you can change your administrative contact anytime from your Domain Control Panel. Learn how.
To change the contact information for a domain you registered elsewhere, or through Yahoo! before the dates noted above, please contact your registrar.
