The Starter Web Page Wizard will help you create your starter web page. To access the wizard:
- Sign in to your Business Control Panel. (If you have not yet signed in with your AT&T Yahoo! ID and password, you'll be prompted to do so here.)
- Click "Domain Control Panel."
- In the "Starter Web Page" area, click "Edit Starter Web Page." You will go to the Starter Web Page Wizard.
- Choose a template by clicking the corresponding radio button. You can preview each template by clicking on its thumbnail image; a full-size version of the template will open in a new window. (You can also see your starter web page's progress at any time by clicking the "Preview" button.)
- Enter your contact information. Please note that you may not use any HTML code or images in these fields. We will automatically convert your email address into a mailto: link (in other words, your web site visitors will be able to send you a message by clicking your email address).
- Heading: Appears at the top left or top center of the page
- Sub-heading: Appears at the top of the main content area
- Email: Appears in the "Contact Information" section
- Phone number: Appears below the Email field in the "Contact Information" section
- Address fields: Appear below the Phone number field in the "Contact Information" section
- I'm Online: Appears in the "Contact Information" section
- Click the "Preview" button to review your work (a preview version of your page will open in a new window). If you would like to change your template or edit any of your information, return to the Starter Web Page Wizard to make your changes.
- When you're ready, click the "Publish" button.
- On the following page, you'll see a confirmation that you've successfully created your starter web page and a link to the published page. If your domain is pending, your starter web page will not be viewable (although you can preview your page within the Starter Web Page Wizard). We recommend that you do not share your web address until your domain has become active.
- If you're satisfied with your page, select "Return to Domain Control Panel." To edit your page, choose the "Starter Web Page Wizard" link.
Your starter web page will be visible to the public immediately unless your domain is pending. Your domain may be pending if you have registered your domain within the previous 24-48 hours or if you are using an existing domain and haven't yet modified your name servers.
Please note: If you have set up a domain forward, it will be deactivated when you publish a starter web page. Learn more.
