Why isn't my custom CNAME record resolving?

Your destination domain or host name may not be active. If your custom CNAME record points to a destination that is not yet active, you will see a "page cannot be displayed" error in your browser.

When creating a CNAME record, please be sure that your host name is pointing to an active domain or host name. To confirm that the destination is active, enter its name directly into the address bar of your browser and click "Enter" or "Return," then verify that it resolves to the expected destination.

Your CNAME record may also still be propagating. Custom records may take up to 72 hours to be recognized across the Internet. We recommend that you test your CNAME record again after this propagation period.
