What is a CNAME record?

A CNAME (canonical name) record is a DNS record that can be used to create host names for a domain name. These host names can be set to point to other domain names or host names.

You have been provided with DNS management tools that allow you to set up CNAME records. Please view the directions for setting CNAME records for your account.
