How do I export contacts from my Yahoo Contacts into other accounts?

The export function allows you to save contact information from your Yahoo Address Book to use in any of the following applications and files:

      • Outlook Express
      • Outlook 97, 98, and 2000
      • Outlook 2002 (XP)/2003
      • Palm Desktop 2.0 or higher
      • Netscape Address Book
      • Yahoo CSV

Here's how to export your Yahoo Contacts:

      1. Click "Options" in the upper-right corner of the page, then choose "Mail Options" from the pull-down menu.

      2. In the left navigation pane, click "Contacts Options."

Your original Yahoo Address Book opens.

      3. Click "Import/Export" in the upper-right corner of the page.

The Import/Export page appears. (You can ignore the Import section for now.)

      4. Click the "Export Now" button next to the name of the application to which you want to export your contact list.

Depending on your operating system, one or more messages may appear prompting you to specify a file name and location for the export file.

      5. Specify the file name and location, and save the file.
