Analytics Settings

Use the Analytics Settings page to enable or disable analytics for your account. Analytics help you to identify and track the actions of visitors to your web site.

Understanding Analytics

There are two categories of analytics:

  • Conversion Only Analytics - Conversion Only Analytics track conversion events, such as purchasing a product, registering for a trade show or downloading a document.
  • Full Analytics - If Full Analytics is available for your account, you can track a visitor's path through your web site, recording significant events that often lead to a conversion.

Setting Up Analytics

To set up analytics for your account, please refer to the Analytics Setup Guide.

Note: Setting up analytics requires knowledge of HTML and web development applications as well as access to your web site's source code. You may have to work with your webmaster, web developer or system administrator to set up analytics.

Visitor Browser Requirements

To ensure full tracking of visitor activities on your web site, your visitors' web browsers must be set so that:

  • Images are displayed.

  • JavaScript is enabled.

  • Cookies are enabled. If cookies aren't enabled, analytics can still track conversions and other events on your site. However, information cannot be attributed to a particular cookie.
