Use the Move Ad Group page to move an ad group to another campaign. When you copy or move an ad group, all approved and pending items are duplicated and then transferred to the new location.

You can move an ad group regardless of its ad group status. Once moved, all of the ad group's ads and keywords will retain their respective ad group status of active, inactive, or paused.

Moving an Ad Group

To move an ad group to a different campaign:

1. Click the Campaigns tab. The Campaigns page opens.

2. Identify the campaign that contains the ad group you want to move and click its link. The Campaign Details page opens.

3. Identify the ad group and click its link. The Ad Group Details page opens.

4. Click the down-arrow to the right of the Ad Group Settings button.

5. Select Move. The Move Ad Group page opens.

6. You can make changes to these parameters:

   • Assign to Campaign - Select an existing campaign to assign your ad group.

   • Excluded Words - You can add excluded words to apply to your ad group.

7. Click the Save Changes button. The Ad Group Details page opens.
