Use the Editorial Status page to review the editorial status of your keywords and ads. Declined and removed keywords and ads are displayed on the Editorial Status page for 30 days. The Editorial Status page has two tabs: one tab for viewing the editorial status of your keywords and one for viewing the editorial status of your ads. Click the tab that corresponds to the items you want to view.
Understanding Editorial Status
Keywords and ads are reviewed for compliance with the Editorial Guidelines. A keyword or ad might be declined or removed if it contains a superlative (like "best" or "cheapest"), a repeated word (like "sale, sale, sale") or contact information (such as a phone number). But there are other reasons as well. The Sponsored Search Editorial Guidelines describe acceptable and unacceptable keywords and ads and offers tips for writing effective ads.
The Editorial Status page shows the following statuses for keywords and ads:
Pending - The keyword or ad is being reviewed for compliance with the Editorial Guidelines.
Declined - The keyword or ad has been declined because it does not comply with the Editorial Guidelines.
Removed - The keyword has been removed from the ad group or the ad has been removed because it does not comply with the Editorial Guidelines.
