You can join the game at any time, but your squad will only start to accrue points from the next deadline - 10.59am on Saturday, UK time. This means if you decide to join the game half-way through the season you will probably struggle to make it into the top ten but there's no reason not to set up a league with other people who wish to join at the same time.
