How your team wins points
All teams receive fantasy points based on each player's actual performance in several statistical categories. Each category has a specific point value associated with it (see chart here), and teams receive points for all 11 players in their lineup.
If a player appears in more than one game during any given week, his total fantasy points for the week will be based on the sum of his real-life stats for the week.
