The "My Favorites" feature lets you bookmark and subscribe to videos and channels you find in Yahoo! Video

You can save a video or channel to your Favourites using either the "Save" or "Add" buttons, respectively, anywhere you find them in the Yahoo! Video product. On the "My Favorites" page you can designate your favorites as private (only seen by you) or public (seen by anyone.)

When you save to your Favourites you can add tags to categorise the content. Think of tags as keywords or labels that you use to group common items.

To view your Favourites page, click the "My Favourites" tab. From there you can click any saved favourite to remove it from your Favourites page or add a tag to it.

To share your Favourites with friends:

  • Share via Email: Click the "Email to Friend" to send a link to the channel.
  • Share via Yahoo! Messenger: If you are a Yahoo! IM user, click "Send via Y! Messenger" to send a channel link through Yahoo! Messenger.
  • Share via Media RSS – click the orange XML link at the bottom of the channel results page. Learn more about Media RSS....

Please note: The Share Your Favorites: Make Public / Private link on the My Favorites page lets you control the access level for all your saved favorites. When you save or add something to Favourites, and your favorites are set to “Make Private”; only you can see it, even if you share it through email, Yahoo! Messenger, or Media RSS. When you share your Favourites, if you want to be sure they can be seen, use the Make Public / Private link located at the top right of the My Favorites page to set the access level for all your saved favorites.
