Sites for young users:

ChildLine

Free helpline for children in trouble or danger. If you need help, call ChildLine free on 0800 1111, or visit the site for more information.

Kidsmart

Resources for u11s and 11+ with advice and games about online safety. In addition, it features young people giving advice to their peers.

CyberMentors

Cybermentors is all about young people helping and supporting each other online. If you're being bullied, or are feeling a bit low, or are maybe troubled by something and you're not sure what to do or who to talk to, then CyberMentors is where you can go for help. Chat to someone your own age in a confidential and safe environment - there are also counsellors online too if you need them.

TheSite.org

This site, operated by the charity YouthNet, provides factsheets and articles on key issues facing young people, a question and answer service, and a community area enabling 16-24 year-olds to express themselves and address their concerns.

Think U Know

This site looks at how you can really get the most out of online services and provides free resources for children about safe and responsible behaviour online. It also allows internet users to report inappropriate behaviour towards children online.

Click Clever Click Safe

To help children to enjoy the internet safely, the UK Council for Child Internet Safety has developed the Click Clever, Click Safe code. The code has three simple actions: ‘Zip it, Block it, Flag it’. It’s easy to remember when talking to children about online safety and it’s designed to help keep them safe on the internet.

Know IT All comprises a set of award-winning resources, including Know IT All for Parents.

Teach Today
