Can I access Yahoo! AddressGuard from my browser's toolbar? How?

Yes! Add a shortcut to Yahoo! AddressGuard right into your browser's toolbar.

Click the "View" menu at the top of your browser window. Go to "Toolbars" and select "Links" (Internet Explorer) or "Bookmarks" (Firefox)—whatever gives you visual, one-click access in that browser to the web sites you like.

  1. Now, in your Yahoo! Mail Plus account, click Optionsin the upper-right corner of the page.
  2. From the list on the left, click Spam.
  3. Next to “Disposable Addresses”, click Set up a disposable address.
  4. At the top of the page that opens, click Using AddressGuard.

Notice a section that says, "Adding Yahoo! AddressGuard to your Browser." Within this section, click and hold down on the Yahoo! AddressGuard link, and drag it up into the Links or Bookmarks or other toolbar you opened in your browser. Drop it there. Done!

Now you can access Yahoo! AddressGuard anywhere you go, which makes it easy to come up with a new address whenever you need it.

You can also download the Yahoo! Toolbar, which has Yahoo! AddressGuard access built right in. What's the Yahoo! Toolbar?
