To enjoy the benefits of Yahoo! SpamGuard Plus, make sure it's turned on!

Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options. Under "Spam", click Spam Protection. You can tell that SpamGuard Plus is working if, under "Spam Filter", it says "SpamGuard Plus is ON".

When you become a Yahoo! Mail Plus subscriber, you're automatically upgraded to Yahoo! SpamGuard Plus.

Yahoo! SpamGuard Plus automatically filters suspected spam to your Spam folder. For results that are personalised just for you, remember to train your filter by:

• Click Spam (either the button above your Inbox, or in the Spam column beside a message in your Inbox) to report spam that's been delivered to your Inbox or to one of your personal folders.
• Click Not Spam to report messages you want in your Inbox that were delivered to your Spam folder.

Following these steps will improve your Yahoo! SpamGuard Plus. The more you train Yahoo! SpamGuard Plus by marking messages Spam or Not Spam, the better it works for you.
