How do I add a label to a location?

Replace an article

You have reached the maximum number of saved articles. Your oldest saved article will be replaced with the new one.

If you are signed into your Yahoo! account, you can assign a label to any location listed in your location history. When you do so, you will notice that the location is moved from your location history to the My Locations list. In addition, you can change a label for a location that's already in your My Locations list. If you are not signed in, you cannot assign labels to your locations.

To add a label to a location in your Location History list:

  1. Go to the Location Management Page.
  2. Under Location History hover over the location that you want to add a label to. An Add a Label link appears.
  3. Click Add a Label.
  4. Enter a label
  5. Click Save.

Note: the location is automatically moved to the My Locations list.
