In Mail, choose the Options menu item Check email.

To get into Mail from the carousel, choose Open Inbox*, scroll in the list or lists of emails, and choose Open.

Within a mail, you can press 1, 3, or choose the Options menu items Next email or Previous email to get other emails.

Attached photos can be opened and saved to the device, making them available for loading to Flickr.
