General searching is not available everywhere in Yahoo! Go 2.0. However, aside from the search available when you start Yahoo! Go 2.0, general searching can be used in the Local & Maps, News, Sports, Finance, and Entertainment features. At the carousel for each of these features, start typing, and a search blank appears with the search words you type. When you are done, choose oneSearch. Searching in these cases takes into account the feature you use to search.

Searching in the Weather, Flickr, and Mail features is more specific to each type of content: locations, photos, Inbox mail, and Address Book contacts.
