To change your alternate email address, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to any of Yahoo!'s personalised services (such as Yahoo! Mail, My Yahoo!, etc.) and sign in to your account.
2. Click the Account Info or My Account link at the top of the page.
3. Re-enter your password for verification.
4. Click the "Edit" button next to "Member Information."
5. This screen will allow you to change your alternate email address and choose which address you would like as your primary alternate email. This means that we'll send you information about your account, such as a confirmation message after you've changed your password, to this address. Your alternate email address cannot be a Yahoo! Mail address.
6. Please make sure to click the "Finished" button after you've edited any information.
7. Follow the steps to verify your email address so that you can request a new password via email and use your new email address within all of Yahoo!'s services.
