Starting with version 1.3 of the Yahoo! Toolbar for Mozilla Firefox, you will receive suggestions for searches based on popular searches at Yahoo! and your search history. These options are controlled by the "Enable search history" and "Suggest popular searches" options in the Toolbar Options dialog. These two options utilize advanced capabilities of the Firefox browser which are not stable in earlier versions of Firefox. If these options appear disabled or "greyed out" in the Toolbar Options dialog you need to upgrade to Mozilla Firefox version 1.5 or higher. The easiest way to do this is to select "Check for Updates" under the Firefox "Help" menu and follow the instructions.
