No, it can't be moved. The ad will always be at the bottom of the Messenger window in the space above the search bar. It won’t change size, and it won't turn into one of those big blobby things that some ads turn into these days.

Working with Messenger users, we received feedback that the most unobtrusive place to put an ad is at the bottom of the window. So that's where we put it!
