A Yahoo! Avatar is a character that you can personalize and use when interacting with friends online. By changing hairstyles, clothes, accessories, and backgrounds, you can create your own unique persona.

1. There are two ways to customize your Avatar:
• Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Preferences." Then select the "Display Image" category and click the "Change Default" button.
• Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "My Display Image."
2. Select the "Share my Avatar" option and click the "Customize" button.
