To enable or disable Audibles captions:

1. Open the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Preferences."
2. Select the "Messages" category.
3. Check the "Always show captions when I send or receive Audibles" option.
4. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.

Please Note: Uncheck the option to disable the feature.

To enable or disable Audibles sounds:
