Neighborhood Watch is a way for users to report directly to Yahoo! about auctions that might be violating our Additional Terms of Service or Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines. The seller is notified first that their auction has been the subject of Neighborhood Watch reports and given the opportunity to review the auction and make changes or close the auction if they believe they are in violation of the rules. If the problem persists, Yahoo! Customer Care is notified, and an associate reviews the auction and takes the appropriate action. If the auction does not violate our Additional Terms of Service or Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines, we do not remove the auction.

If you receive a Neighborhood Watch warning, you do not need to close your auction if you do not feel that you are in violation of our rules. However, you might wish to review the rules of listing and selling in our Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines and our Terms of Service, as violations of these rules might result in the removal of your auctions and termination of your Yahoo! ID and all the associated content.
