What is My Saved Search and how do I use it?

Save to My Help

Save this article to My Help for easy reference. You can visit the article at any time from any computer.

Replace an article

You have reached the maximum number of saved articles. Your oldest saved article will be replaced with the new one.

We offer the "Saved Search" option to help you quickly find content around your specialist subjects and to choose to have the top results for each search emailed to you in the Saved Search Daily Digest Email.

You can access the "Saved Searches" page from:

  • The My Activity tab
  • The Search Results Page
  • The Advanced Search Page

Here are some further details about Saved Search:

  • Each member can save up to 10 searches.
  • The main pane displays the selected search in real time. The last sorting parameters you use are saved as part of this search.
  • Drag and drop to arrange your Saved Searches to get the most used ones at the top of the list.
  • Manage these searches from the new Saved Search page by editing them or deleting them
  • Get your Saved Searches delivered as a daily digest email by opting in to the email from the Edit My Preferences page.
  • By default we give you one Saved Search to start with. This is the Yahoo! trending search which you can choose to delete at any time
