In the meantime, there is a way you can save chats, if you want. Here’s how:

1. Finish your chat. Then, before you close the conversation tab, click Convert to Email. It’s a button in the toolbar above the chat window. See it?
2. Once you’ve converted the chat into an email, you’ll notice it’s automatically addressed to the person you were chatting with. If you want, go ahead and send it to them –a copy will also go into your Sent folder, where you can find it later. Or, better yet, just delete their address from the “To:” field and send it to yourself! When you receive it, file it in whatever folder you want.
