Formations:

After signing your initial club, your club is setup with a 4-4-2 formation by default. You can adjust your formation by subbing in and subbing out players. To substitute a player, mouse over the player you want to sub, click the icon (), and click the player from your bench that you would like to sub in. Your formation will be changed automatically, however your formation must always consist of at least:

  • 1 Goalkeeper
  • 3 Defenders
  • 3 Midfielders
  • 1 Forward

Substitutions:

Substitutions provide a safety against players who do not play in a match. The computer will automatically substitute in a player with the next highest substitution priority while maintaining a valid formation (see valid formation above).

For example, if your starting goalkeeper plays 0 minutes, your backup goalkeeper will be automatically subbed in. If any midfielder player plays 0 minutes, the next highest priority player that maintains a valid formation will be automatically subbed in.
