How do I sign into or out of “Go Mobile” on my mobile device?

Here’s how to sign into IM forwarding, so you can get and send IMs as SMS messages on your device:

Type in your Yahoo! ID password on your mobile phone and send it to your corresponding wireless carrier number as shown below.

Note: You may incur charges for sending and receiving text messages on your mobile phone. Please see your carrier service agreement for more information.

If your sign-in is successful, you’ll receive two messages from Yahoo!. The first confirms that you’re signed in to the service. The second lists your online friends. If your sign-in is not successful, you’ll receive a message stating "Invalid Yahoo! ID or password. Please try again."

You’ll receive a confirmation message acknowledging your sign-out request.

Any offline messages will be archived and retrieved the next time you log on to Yahoo! Messenger on your computer. Archived messages will not be sent to you via text message.
