Messages sent to your Bulk Mail folder do not count toward your total quota.
While we make our best effort to deliver solicited bulk or commercial email directly to your inbox, we may occasionally send a message that you have requested to your Bulk folder. If you believe that a message delivered to your Bulk folder would be more appropriately delivered to your inbox, please click the "Not Spam" button at the top of the message. The email will be automatically forwarded to a Yahoo Customer Care associate for careful review.
You can choose how long you want to keep messages in your Bulk folder. You can choose to immediately delete bulk mail upon receipt or keep messages for one week, two weeks, or one month. The default setting is one month.
To edit this feature:
Important: Occasionally valid email messages may be perceived as spam and delivered to the Bulk folder. Please note that if you select the "Delete immediately" option, you will not have an opportunity to review the messages in your Bulk folder before they are deleted.
Please be aware that the Bulk folder doesn't generate spam, and you shouldn't receive any additional mail as a result of this folder. The system only directs incoming messages addressed to you to a different folder.
