When messages are deleted in Yahoo! Mail, they are transferred to the trash folder. If a message was deleted by mistake, simply find it in your trash folder and move it to your inbox or another folder.

The trash folder can be emptied at any time. You can manually delete messages by clicking the "Empty" link next to the trash folder in the left navigation bar. Next, you will see a prompt asking if you're sure you want to delete all messages. Click "Yes" to delete or "No" to return to the previous page.

Please Note: After messages are emptied from the trash folder, they are permanently deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server and cannot be recovered.
