Yahoo! Search

Moving content around your page

When you add new content, it appears at the bottom of your page by default. You can move your content by dragging and dropping it into a new position.

  1. Go to your My Yahoo! page.
  2. Hold your mouse near the title of the content you want to move. When the cursor changes to a four-way arrow, press and hold the left mouse button.
  3. Continue pressing the mouse button as you drag the content around the page. A green check appears as you drag the content across areas where it could fit. A red "no" appears if you drag the content into a spot where it can’t fit. A blue bar shows where the content will drop if your release the mouse button.
Note: Some content can only be displayed in the wide column, others only in the narrow columns.
  4. Release the mouse button to drop the content into its new spot.
