Windows
We’re glad to answer your questions about version 8 and above of Yahoo! Messenger for Windows. To see which version you have, login to Messenger, click Help in the upper-right corner, and click About Yahoo! Messenger. You’ll see Yahoo! Messenger followed by some numbers inside of parentheses -- for example: (8.0.0.71). The first two numbers show your version. If you see a number less than 8.0, we highly recommend that you upgrade to the latest version. Upgrading is free! Just go to http://in.messenger.yahoo.com, click Get it Now, and follow the install instructions.
Web Messenger
http://in.webmessenger.yahoo.com/ gives you instant messaging on any internet-connected computer, anywhere! No download required.
Ask Other Yahoo! Messenger Users

The first time you sign into Answers, choose a nickname (anything!) and choose an image to show (again – your choice. Or nothing!). Then tell us which email address we should use to send you answers to your questions.
