Error Codes and Resolutions
This FAQ provides some common resolutions to specific error codes you may encounter when using the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. These solutions are intended for intermediate to expert users. If you are not familiar or comfortable with performing the solutions offered, please contact Customer Care for personalized assistance.
YImage.dll not found
Solution: If you receive any of the following errors: “YImage.dll not found” “DLL Missing” “Cannot find YImage.dll\” “A required .dll file, YImage.dll was not found” you need to re-download a required dll file.

Unzip the file and place it in C:\ProgramFiles\Yahoo!\Messenger, or alternatively in C:\Windows\System32 folder or C:\Windows\SYSTEM
Error Code=80040154, “Could not create the media player control" in Yahoo Jukebox
Solution: Re-install Windows Media Player then reinstall the Yahoo! Music Jukebox

Track relicense failed: 8002009
Solution: Delete your cookies. If this does not resolve the issue, contact Customer Care.
Track relicense failed: 80004003
This is an "Invalid Pointer" error message. It means the Microsoft DRM (digital rights manager) on your system is corrupt. A recent Microsoft hotfix may solve this issue. Please do the following:
- Close Yahoo! Music Jukebox and all other running applications.
- Check to see if Microsoft hotfix KB891122 is installed on your system. To do so, follow these steps:
- Download and install Microsoft hotfix KB910998 from the following location: http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/e/1/0e179769-7ccf-427b-9160-47ef903cbde5/windowsmedia10-kb910998-x86-intl.exe
- Please try the following after installing the hotfix.
- Sign in to your Yahoo! Music Unlimited Account and try to playback a stream from the Home page.
- Do full-length streams playback successfully?
- Now, download some new streams that don't already exist in your library (My Music)
- Go to Yahoo! Music Unlimited
- Navigate to an Artist Page
- Click the "Add to My Music" button on a new track
- Go to My Music and locate the track you just downloaded. If the Track Type indicates it is a stream, then right-click and select Edit > Convert Bookmark to Download
- Does the track that you downloaded play back? Is there any kind of error message displayed when you navigate to the Download Manager?

Check your web browser configuration. To configure Internet Explorer 6.x, start your browser and follow these steps:
- Click "Tools" from the toolbar
- Select "Internet Options"
- Click the "Security" tab
- Click the "Custom Level" button
- Configure the categories that appear in this menu by selecting the following items in each category:
'Active X controls and plug-ins'
- Download signed ActiveX controls - Enable
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting - Enable
'Downloads'
* File Download - Enable
‘Miscellaneous’
* Software channel permissions - Medium safety
'Scripting'
* Enable all options under this category
Click 'OK' to close this menu
- Now, select the "Privacy" tab and set the slider to "Medium."
- Click the "Advanced" tab
- Locate the "Browsing" category
* Check the following option:
'Disable script debugging'
* Uncheck the following options:
'Display a notification about every script error'
'Reuse windows for launching shortcuts'
- Click "Apply"
- Click the "General" tab
- Click the "Settings" button (in 'Temporary Internet Files')
- Click the option marked "Every visit to the page"
- Click OK
- Click the "Delete Files" button (in 'Temporary Internet Files')
- Click OK in the dialog box to confirm clearing your browser's "cache" of stored files)
- Click OK to close the Options window

Track no longer available for download, Code 0x8004D938 or "license failed: 0xc00d2751
This error means the specific track you saved has been removed from the Yahoo! Music Unlimited catalogue. If this happens, we regret the inconvenience, however, it is the label’s discretion to include or remove specific titles from the catalogue, and beyond our control at Yahoo!. If this occurs, we suggest you search for the song again in an alternate form (another album, artist version etc.) and add that version to your collection.
Unable to deactivate machine error 0x8004D01B or error 0X80070005
Contact Customer Care and report this error code so they can troubleshoot and resolve.
