iRiver Device Upgrade Information and Error Troubleshooting

iRiver H10:
  1. The iRiver H10 has software updates available that may improve performance. These are optional and not required for use with the Yahoo! Music Jukebox. Get the optional updates here.
  2. You get a transfer error: "The IO operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request" when synchronizing music.
  3. Possible solution:
    1. Shut down the Yahoo! Music Jukebox.
    2. Detach the H10 from your computer.
    3. Format the H10 using iRiver's Format, Update, and Restore Utility. Be aware this will delete ALL your music on the H10.
    4. Once you complete the utility, reconnect the device, restart the Yahoo! Music Jukebox, and try synchronizing all your music again.

iRiver H320/340:

Be sure your device is connected to the computer using its "Media" port in order to transfer purchased or subscription songs from Yahoo! Music Unlimited. Other ports will not transfer music.

iRiver T30:

Note that the T30 does not support playlists; however all track content is transferred to/from the device.
