Yahoo!'s been listening to what you want and need. And we've come up with some pretty cool features. We added an Extra Email Address, Avatar, and email alerts for when you have a new voice message in, Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. How cool is that!

Let's start with an Extra Mail Address. An extra email address is a second Yahoo! Mail address that you can use with your existing Yahoo! Mail account. No, it's NOT a separate Yahoo! ID, or a separate Mail account. You can use both your primary email address and your Extra Mail Address to send messages from and receive messages at the same mail account. We also added Avatars to your Yahoo! Mail experience. What are Avatars? They're animated graphical images you can use to show the world how you look and feel-- and what you want to say about yourself. Having a Bad hair day? Show the world! You can personalize your Avatar to reflect your new hair doo!

Feel upset or down? DON'T…change your Avatar and cheer yourself up again! You can personalize your email world by creating a 'virtual you' that reflects your mood and feelings. Simply change your Avatar on your main Yahoo! Mail page as your mood changes…It's that easy! Add facial expressions, winks, cool clothes, plus lots of other fun stuff.

The other really great feature we've added to Yahoo! Mail is called 'Mail with Voice'. Now we'll alert you with an email when you have a new voice message left by someone making a PC call with Yahoo! Messenger with Voice.

On the main Yahoo! Mail page, you'll see a message when someone has left you a new voice message. That means you don't have any excuses to not return those calls, do you?
