If you are the owner of a group, you can delete any message or topic from the archives of a group. If you are a member of a group, you can delete messages you have posted.
To delete a message from the archives:
- Go to the Messages area of your group.
- Locate the message you wish to delete.
- Click on the Delete link in the button bar.
- You will be asked to confirm your choice.
If the message you are deleting is the first message in a topic, group owners will have the choice to delete just that message or all the messages in that topic.
Note: Once you delete a message or a topic, it can't be restored.
