What are Sponsor Results?
Sponsor Results are paid listings provided by Yahoo!, that may be linked to from Yahoo! Groups. This program uses a performance-based model in which businesses bid for enhanced placement in search results on terms that are relevant to their business, and pay on a per-click basis.
You'll see Sponsor Results when they're relevant to the specific group you are viewing. For example if you are a member of a tennis group, you may see tennis sponsored results on your group's pages.
Groups sponsored listings are targeted to the topic (category) of the group, and not the content on the specific page or message you are viewing. The result is an ad which is often highly relevant to your group, but also one which respects your privacy!
However, this is an automated system and sometimes it makes mistakes. So if you see an inappropriate or objectionable ad appearing in one of your groups and want it removed, please complete this form to let us know.
Yahoo! Groups will display Sponsored Results on a separate page titled "Sponsor Results" so you can tell them apart from other content in the group.
