Yes. To have your main home page show up when you visit your URL, you must keep a file named index.html. You may either edit that page, or upload a new one, but it must be named index.html.
Note: file names are case sensitive; "index.html" is not the same as "Index.html" or "INDEX.HTML", and ".htm" is not the same as ".html".
