What are my options when someone is harassing me?

If you are being harassed by another player, you have several options. The first is to just ignore the player. You can choose to block their chat indefinitely. To ignore a player, double-click their name in the list of players. A new window will open showing information about this player. At the bottom of the window is a checkbox labeled "Ignore." Check this box, and you will no longer receive chat messages from that player.

Additionally, if you are the host of the table, you may eject offending players using the "Boot" button on the left control panel. To keep the offending player from re-entering the room, you can then make the room private (in non-ladder game rooms only).

Yahoo! Games are not intended for young children. Parents should be aware that children playing Yahoo! Games will be able to chat with other adult players and view message boards which may contain inappropriate material. At this time there is no way to disable either of these functions in Yahoo! Games. We recommend that parents encourage their children to use Yahooligans! Games.
