What quotes are available?
To get quotes for any of the below, use our symbol lookup feature.
- Canadian quotes from the TSX and TSX Venture exchanges
- Major U.S. stock markets: NYSE, Amex, Nasdaq National Market (NasdaqNM), Nasdaq Small Cap (NasdaqSC) and OTC Bulletin Board (identified by the extension ".OB").
- Quotes for international stock exchanges are available via these international Yahoo! Finance sites:
- Mutual Funds and Money Market Funds.

Market Indices, such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Classes of stock, including preferred. Ticker symbols for these stocks can be found by entering the company name or the company's primary ticker symbol in the symbol lookup feature.
For a class of stock, add the class to then end of the ticker symbol, such as BRKa and BRKb for Berkshire Class A and B.
For preferred shares, add _p (underscore '_' followed by the letter 'p') and then the class to the end, such as IBM_pa for IBM preferred class A. Other types have the following extensions:
- rights: "_r"
- rights when issued: "_r_w"
- when distributed: "w" (no underscore)
- warrants: "_t"
- warrants when issued: _t_w
- units: "_u"
- when issued: "_w"
- Corporate Bonds. Enter the company name or the company's ticker symbol in our symbol lookup feature to find a ticker symbol of the form IBM7J25.
- Metals. The following quotes for precious metals are currently supported: XAU=X for Gold, XPD=X for Palladium, XPT=X for Platinum, XAG=X for Silver.
