Why aren't my toolbar buttons showing up?

If you see Yahoo! Canada Toolbar but you don't have your buttons read below:

If you see "Guest Toolbar:" on your Yahoo! Canada Toolbar, it means you're not signed in.

To see your customized settings, or to set them up in the first place, you must be signed in to a valid Yahoo! account. Once you are signed in, you'll see your buttons and be able to edit your toolbar.

In rare cases, you may need to refresh the toolbar manually. To do this, click on the "Edit" button and choose "Refresh Toolbar."

If you don't see the Yahoo! Canada Toolbar and are working offline or you have not loaded a Web page yet read below:

If you are working offline, you must be connected to the Web and load a Web page in order for Yahoo! Canada Toolbar to show up.

If you are online and you are using Internet Explorer 5:

If you are having problems using Toolbar with Internet Explorer 5, upgrading to IE 5.01 or 5.5 should resolve your problems. If you are currently using IE 5.5 and your Toolbar doesn't appear, please update your browser to ensure you are not using the beta or pre-release version. Follow the directions below:

  1. Visit the Internet Explorer update page.
  2. Under the Recommended Updates section, click on Internet Explorer 5.01 or 5.5.
  3. Click the "Download" button on the top-right corner of the page and follow the instructions.

After you have updated Internet Explorer, try downloading Yahoo! Canada Toolbar again.
