• A proper Canadian postal code. We are currently only able to accept ads within Canada and the United States.
• A Yahoo! ID. If you have registered for any other Yahoo! Canada property, you already have a Yahoo! ID. If you don't, you can sign up for one right now. It's free.

Once you have registered and logged in, go to Yahoo! Canada Classifieds.

1. Click on the "Post Ad" link at the top of the page.
2. Choose the category or sub-category, if appropriate, for the type of ad you want to submit.
3. Fill out the details form, giving as much information as you like.
4. Click the "Submit Entry" button at the bottom of the form. If you receive an error message, you need to correct your ad or it will not post. Your personal ad will not post in Yahoo! Canada Personals if you have an email address, web address, or telephone number in the ad. When you're done, we'll show you a preview of what your ad will look like. Click the "Edit Ads" link under the banner to edit or delete the ad.

Important: Your ad should appear on our site within 48 hours and will stay up for 30 days. You can edit it anytime before it shows up. If you'd like to extend your ad for another 30 days, click on "Edit Ads," then "edit ad" below the ad you wish to extend, and then "Submit Ad" again.

Here are a few things to keep in mind to make sure you've done everything correctly.

• Ads can only be posted to Canada cities.
• If you receive error messages, but do not correct them, your ad will not post.
• When you submit or edit your ad, we will show you where your ad will be posted (e.g., Ontario, Region of Ottawa). If you receive the message, "You don't currently have any ads listed" when you click "Edit Ads," please resubmit your ad.
