At the close of auction, both buyer and seller receive an automated email from Yahoo! Auctions. For buyers, this email alerts them to the fact that they won, and that they must wait to hear from the seller.
Sellers can add a customized message to the winning bidders in this email.
Here's how to do it:
- Click on the \"Options\" link at the top of any auction page.
- Click on \"Customize Winning Emails.\"
- Enter a message that will go to all your winning bidders. You can include contact information, payment instructions, and a reminder to the bidder to rate you when they have received their item.
- When you are satisfied with your message, click on the \"Finish\" button at the bottom of the page.
Remember, you are responsible for the information you post. This message will go to all winning bidders for all of your auctions.
To edit your messages:
- Return via the Options page and make changes.
- When you are satisfied with your changes, click on the \"Update\" button at the bottom of the page.
