What is the difference between Quick Scan and Full Scan?

There are a number of differences between a Quick Scan and a Full Scan for viruses on your computer:

• Frequency Initially, a Full Scan is scheduled for your computer every week. You can change this setting. Quick Scans are not initially scheduled, but you can change this setting as well. Quick Scans are ad-hoc.
• Initiation A QuickScan occurs after the download of an update. Full System Scans do not launch after an update.
