How do I use Rogers Yahoo! Anti-Spyware?

To use Rogers Yahoo! Anti-Spyware, you must have the application installed on your computer. Rogers Yahoo! Anti-Spyware is part of Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection. If you do not have Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection installed, http://toolbar.yahoo.com to download and install it. Rogers Yahoo! Anti-Spyware is free to Rogers customers.

To launch the Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection, you can either double-click the Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection desktop item, the icon in the System Tray at the bottom of the screen, or go to the Start menu, locate your Rogers programs folder, and select Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection. Either action opens the Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection Dashboard.

In the dashboard, click Anti-Spyware to open that part of the dashboard, and click Scan Now. This action opens the window AntiSpyware - Norton Spyware Scan. Under Scan Option, select either Quick Scan or, if you have the time, Deep Scan; also select Cookies if you want to scan cookies for spyware. To start the scan, click Scan Now.

During the scan, the window shows its progress. When the scan is completed, the window shows any results of the scan. This window gives you more information on any items detected. You can learn more about each item by selecting its row and referring to the Details area at the right as well as clicking the link Learn more about this item at the bottom of this area.

For each row of the Scan Results list, select an action: Remove, Ignore, or Quarantine. When you have selected actions for each item found, click Continue. Next to the Continue button is a list of actions you can take with the list as a whole. You may want to use the options in the list if each item is to be dealt with in the same way.
