What's the difference between the simple and advanced schedules?

The simple schedule sets the same time limits for each day of the week; the advanced schedule allows you to pick a different amount of time for each day of the week. This is useful, for example, if you want to set different time limits on weekends versus weekdays.

In addition, the simple schedule only lets you choose one time period during the day, such as from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The advanced schedule allows you to select multiple periods during the day, such as before school from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., after school from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and after dinner from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can specify different settings for each day of the week.

To protect your family with these features, you must create accounts for each member. Furthermore, you must install and activate a program on each PC used.
