When you see the message
Rogers Yahoo! Parental Controls are currently "INACTIVE" on this computer.
on the Settings Summary page, it means the following things:
- Network-based features of Rogers Yahoo! Parental Controls are still working to protect your child from Mail and Messenger abuse.
- The software that supports the Web Filter feature of Yahoo! Parental Controls has been downloaded and installed on the hard drive of your computer.
- This software has not been activated for filtering Web access from this computer.
It doesn't mean that Yahoo! Parental Controls isn't working at all, but only that the software on that computer needs to be activated for the Web Filter feature to start checking access.
To protect your family with these features, you must create accounts for each member. Furthermore, you must install and activate a program on each PC used.
