What are Permission Slips?

The Permission Slips feature lets your child ask permission to access web sites or communicate with people over Rogers Yahoo! Messenger or Rogers Yahoo! Mail that would otherwise not be allowed.

For example, if Parental Controls prevents your child from visiting a web site, your child can send you a Permission Slip asking for your approval to visit that site. If you agree, your child will be allowed to view that page.

Similarly, if your child is restricted to sending email to a select list of people, they can send you a Permission Slip for a new friend. You can then approve or deny the request.

To protect your family with these features, you must create accounts for each member. Furthermore, you must install and activate a program on each PC used.
