How do I approve or deny requests my child has made for new friends?

If your child has sent you a Permission Slip for a new friend, you can approve or deny the friend.

To do this:

1. Go to Yahoo! Parental Controls.
2. Click the link for the permission slips—for example, 1 new.
3. Click the name in the YAHOO! MESSENGER FRIENDS area.
4. Click Approve or Deny.

If you approve the friend, your child can exchange messages with that person.

To access Yahoo! Parental Controls, navigate to http://ypc.yahoo.com.
